The Family History Show, York is now an online event. This brings the benefit of becoming an international event, that anyone can attend from the comfort of their own home! You can safely meet exhibitors, such as ourselves, via our virtual stall, chat and find out about all our products and you can enjoy access to all the usual show features.

The Family History Show Online takes place on 19th June, featuring two online lecture theatres, the popular 'Ask the Experts' area where you can put questions forward to specialists, live chat and forum where you can talk with other attendees, as well as a whole host of stalls so you can ask for advice as well as buy genealogical products.

John Bishop - Who Do You Think You Are?

John Bishop was one of the celebrities taking the journey into their past on BBC's 'Who Do You Think You Are?' and discovered that he's not the only entertainer in his family. In John's family outside of Liverpool, his great-great-grandfather Charles Bishop was recorded on the 1861 census as a Vicar in Sussex, but had a dramatic career change of his own, and is recorded on the 1891 census in Lancashire as a 'Music Vocalist'.
