Dear Family Historian,
It may not feel like it but we're now in the middle of the great British summer! Let's
look on the positive side, rainy days are good for the garden and give us a good excuse
to catch up on our research. Speaking of which, you'll have some catching up to do with
our latest releases.
We have added over 28 Million records, more high-resolution
images, parish records, birth
records and another complete decade of London newspapers.
With these new records available, why not take out our special offer and
save up to £40 on TheGenealogist subscriptions this month.
One of the largest family history fairs is on this weekend at
York Racecourse. This major Northern family history event has
stands from societies and companies from all over the country, including S&N
Genealogy and the show sponsor TheGenealogist. The fair is a great place to meet with
experts on a variety of topics and areas. There are also a number of free talks
available throughout the day.
While on the subject of Yorkshire, our article this month looks at how
two of Yorkshire's own developed two very different beverages.
We have just finished two essential Irish resource CDs in time for
the email news:-
Our Ireland, Belfast and Ulster 1926 Directory has nearly 2,000 pages covering names and
addresses allowing you to search for your ancestors. It contains private residents with
their addresses and all sorts of trades people.
O'Hart's Irish Pedigrees, originally published in 1881, contains 866 pages of Celtic
Genealogies along with the pedigrees of some English, Anglo-Irish, and Anglo-Norman
families that settled in Ireland.
Don't forget to check out our new releases and special
offers which can save you up to a third on some products.
We hope you enjoy the new resources and can benefit from our many offers and finally that
we'll see some sun before Autumn comes!
