War Service Lists
We have added the National Union of Teachers War Records
1914-1919 to our Diamond subscription.
These records contain information on National Union of Teachers members who
served in the Great War. This includes a list of teachers who joined the
forces, those who received honours, and a record of those who were killed
plus other information relating to the National Union of Teachers during the
war. |

Battle of Jutland
This new release includes a full list of the men killed or
wounded in the battle, containing almost 7,000 records.
The Battle of Jutland was a naval battle fought by the Royal Navy's Grand
Fleet against the Imperial German Navy's High Seas Fleet during the First
World War. The battle was fought on 31 May and 1 June 1916 in the North Sea
near Jutland, Denmark. It was the largest naval battle and the only
full-scale clash of battleships in the war.

Roll of Honour Records
We have added the following Roll of Honour records for all Gold and Diamond
subscribers:
- British Roll of Honour 1914-1916
A collection of biographies for those officers who lost their lives in
the Great War. Each biography contains information on the circumstances
of death, military careers, education, and immediate family that may
have been left behind. A photographic portrait accompanies each entry.
- Harrow Memorials of the Great War
Contains biographies and portraits of Harrovians who fell in The Great
War from 23rd August 1914 to the end of the war.
- Artists' Rifles Roll Of Honour 1914-1919
Contains commissions, promotions, appointments and rewards for service
in the field obtained by members of the corps.
- Inner Temple London 1914-1918
Contains the roll of enlistment of members of the Inner Temple Society.
Information includes regiment, rank, and if they were injured, killed or
missing in action.
- Manchester City Battalions - Book Of Honour 1916
Covers the 90th and 91st Infantry Brigades with detailed listings and
photographs of the regiments, along with a Roll of Honour.
- London, Hampstead, University College Roll of Honour & War
List 1914-1918
Contains service records for University College School students during
the time of the war, who served or fell in the Great War. The Roll of
Honour section contains biographies and portraits of each individual.
- London, Wimbledon and Merton Roll of Honour 1914-1918
Contains an alphabetical list of men from Wimbledon and Merton who fell
in the Great War from 1914 to 1918. Also includes notes of activities in
Wimbledon and Merton.
- The Roll of Honour of the Institution of Electrical Engineers
1914-1919
Contains extensive biographies for members of the Institution of
Electrical Engineers who fell in the Great War. Includes a portrait of
each entry and a map of North West Europe.
- Edinburgh University Roll of Honour 1914-1919
Contains dates and information (and photographs of the fallen where
available) for members of Edinburgh University who served and fell
during The Great War. Also includes a section on Orders, Decorations and
Dispatches.
- Surrey, Croydon and the Great War 1914-1919
A record of the historic work of the citizens of Croydon during the
Great War. It contains a Roll of Honour (with photos) and a wealth of
information on the military, semi-military, civilians, and hospital
services and is illustrated throughout.

As we commemorate Remembrance Day, we turn our thoughts to the sacrifices made by our
ancestors in the major wars and conflicts of the past. As the wars touched so many
people’s lives, there are numerous stories of dedication, heroism, medals awarded
and tragic loss of life.

British soldiers lost in World War One fighting for a cause they were dedicated to.
