Hertfordshire 1911 Census now complete for all our Diamond subscribers

Over 280,000 records have been added to our Diamond Premium subscription. The transcripts provide more detail than any previous census and the images on TheGenealogist are twice the resolution than have been available online before for 1911. The records have been integrated into our existing search tools, so you can access the transcripts using our House and Street search, Keyword Master search and Family Forename search.

We now have over 5 million 1911 records online.

Next week, we will be adding a facility that lets you browse images for the 1911 census by County, District, Parish and Piece. Initially over 26 counties will be available with the rest added in the coming months.

New Research Log

We have just added a new interface for our research log at TheGenealogist and several important feature additions. The research log enables you to keep details of the people you have found whilst searching through The Genealogist's databases. Featuring a new streamlined look, the log now works for all major transcripts on the site and allows you to jump back to the original full record or image. Treeview has also been integrated so an entry in the research log will now appear as an exhibit on your tree. Click the tree icon () on the site where available to start adding to the new research log today.
