Dear Family Historian,

Welcome to this month's email news where we bring you significant developments including a bumper release of data on TheGenealogist and two major articles. Combined with the excellent Midlands History Fair this forthcoming Saturday, it's a busy time in the world of genealogy!

We are releasing half a million parish records and nearly 14 million birth transcripts at TheGenealogist , and we are also offering up to £50 off our subscriptions for email news readers - don't miss out, all existing offers on the diamond subscription end 31st August!

The Midlands Family History Fair is taking place this Saturday in Worcester, with a variety of stands and free genealogy talks. Come and visit our stand to take advantage of our special offers, only available on the day!

As we wave goodbye to the Olympics, our article this issue looks at a local boy who created a very different set of rings. We also feature another writer who started out in fruit and veg.

This month also sees the start of the new series of Who Do You Think You Are?, the popular BBC TV series. Each week we are releasing a new story which looks at the family history of one of the featured celebrities.

We have two new directories for you available on CD, and an offer for free sleeves with our binders.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!

All the best, Sue & Nigel
