Dear Family Historian
The world's biggest family history event is nearly
upon us, so we are running a competition with the winners getting a
free pair of tickets to the show. We also have a whole host
of new releases on CD, online and special offers for you in this issue.
This month is a bumper issue with three articles for you; one which celebrates the 200th
anniversary of a celebrated author, one which tells the story of
a British actor's rise from rags to riches and another to help
you find the occupations of your ancestors.
We are coming to the end of our 1911 project and have added over 1.8 million
records to the 1911 census transcripts. We also have over
7 million new records for our Gold and
Diamond subscribers, including parish records and
occupational records.
Save £40 when you sign up to our Diamond
subscription today! Our subscriptions offer the best value for money, with access to
BMDs, census, and roll of honour records starting at only £14.95.
In the recent WDYTYA magazine comparison we ticked the most boxes and offered the
lowest prices of any of the online companies.
You can save over 40% on selected software manuals, but hurry, as
these offers are only available while stocks last! It always helps to have the right
guide to get the most out of your family history software, learn about how to create the
full range of charts and reports, or defeat problems in transferring data.
We look forward to seeing you at one of the shows, maybe even at Who Do
You Think You Are? Live!

1911 Census - nearly complete!
We have now released full transcripts for four more counties!
- Gloucestershire - over 726,000 records!
- Norfolk - over 486,000 records!
- Somerset - over 526,000 records!
- The Channel Islands - over 97,000 records!
These census records, only available to Diamond subscribers, are linked to
the original census images, so you can see your ancestor's handwriting on the original
census form that they completed.
The records have also been integrated into our existing search tools, so you
can access them using our House and Street search, Keyword Master search and Family
Forename search. |
