TheGenealogist and S&N are proud to sponsor the brand new event 'Echoes of the Past',
helping promote family history in Lincolnshire.
'Echoes of the Past' promises to be the first major family history show for the county.
S&N will be providing specialist help, talks and advice on the day. These will be
just part of the planned talks and lectures available.
With many societies, companies and archives attending the event, it should be on your
calendar as not to be missed. The event is aimed at helping people learn more about
family history research in Lincolnshire, what resources are available, and offering
hints and tips to help researchers along the way.
It will also be a great way to experience memories of Lincolnshire, with particular
focus on aviation, agriculture and engineering - three main industries that featured in
many people's lives.
'Echoes of the Past' will also feature the Lincolnshire Family History Society,
Lincolnshire Archives, professional Genealogists and the Lincolnshire Aviation
Centre. |

LFHHS 40th Anniversary Family History Fair with the NWGFHS
Saturday 14th September
10.00am - 4.00pm
at King George's Hall, Blackburn
Come and visit our stall at the 40th Anniversary Family History Fair in Blackburn, and
pop along to our free "Brick Walls" talk. The fair takes place at King
George's Hall, Northgate, Blackburn, BB1 2AA. Admission is £3.00 with
children under 16 FREE.
