Run by the organisers of The Family History Show - York and South West, the London event is attracting exhibitors and family history societies from all over the UK. You don't have to have London Ancestors to come to this fair - they can be from anywhere in the country! Everyone is very welcome and there will be lots to see. There is plenty of free parking and refreshments are available all day.

FFHS Really Useful Information Leaflet

The Family History Federation has published an updated edition of its Really Useful Information Leaflet. The leaflet is full of expert information on tracing your family tree, with a long list of useful websites and tips on other resources. It also gives contact details of all the Federation's friendly family history societies. They have over 160 members with the local expertise that can really help grow your tree. As well as all that, there's an interesting article on the pros and cons of using DNA in genealogy.
