Simpler Navigation
The new main window lets you switch between different screens (people, sources, places, tasks, media, etc.) without losing your place. The new "Couple View" and expandable "Descendants View" give you new insights into your families.

You may now have more than one person's edit screen open at a time. You can also use other software features while the edit screen is open. Will my data transfer from a previous version?
Yes, you will need to import your database by going to File > Create a New RootsMagic File. Then follow the on-screen prompts to transfer everything into version 8.
What subscription is included in the Platinum Edition?
The Platinum Edition comes with a 3 Month Gold Subscription to TheGenealogist. This doesn't start when you purchase the program, it can be activated at any time.
