If the complete package is returned to us in saleable condition, we will refund the original cost. These opened goods have to be sold at discount prices and are not sold by mail order. Postage and packing charges are non-refundable and all returns must be authorised and quote a returns code.
We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and AMEX. The company name shown on your card statement will be S&N Genealogy Supplies.
Postage and packing will be applied at time of order, this will be shown at the checkout stage. Items in stock are normally shipped the same or next working day, although please be aware shipping may take longer at peak periods such as Christmas. If an item is out of stock, you will be advised of this.
If you have not received your order, we ask that you first check with your local sorting office in case they are holding the item for you. Please be aware that Royal Mail do not class an item as lost until 15 working days from the day of dispatch (25 working days for international deliveries), after this time please contact us.
Data CDs will not normally be refunded due to the nature of the product. If a genuine mistake has been made we may offer an exchange or a credit note against further purchases. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Other orders may be cancelled and goods returned unused and unopened within 7 days for a refund, less postage & administrative costs; customer to bear cost of sending items back.

Cancellation of software and data downloads: Due to the nature of download products, orders may only be cancelled if you have not downloaded the product.
UK Delivery: If the item that is temporarily out of stock is due to arrive with us
within a few days, we will hold the order and despatch it together when the new stock arrives. If there
is a longer delay, we will send the other items on your order on to you and send the out of stock item
separately as soon as our new stock arrives.
Overseas Delivery: We will usually hold all items on the order and send it out as soon
as the out of stock item arrives. If you need us to split shipping, please place two separate orders
(one for the items in stock and one for the items out of stock).
If an item is marked as a Special Order, this means we have to order this direct from our manufacturer so it may take longer than usual for delivery (approx 2-6 weeks). Please contact us if you would like to know more.
Advance orders for items not yet published will be sent as soon as possible after the item is released.
These products can only be used for personal research by the original purchaser. This excludes commercial use, library use, loan, provision of a lookup service or print service. Breach of the above conditions may result in legal action. If you would like to use these items in a libray or within a family history group, please contact us.
Software and Data Downloads must be purchased in a separate transaction to other mail order goods. Once the transaction has been confirmed, you will receive an email with a download link or instructions on how to access the download, along with any activation codes required. This will be sent to the email address provided by the customer, and may not necessarily be the email address used for online payment.
We extend our return policy at Christmas as long as the item is unused and unopened. You can buy presents with confidence knowing they can be returned in the first week of January. All returns must be authorised and quote a returns code; please contact us to arrange a return.
