Northumberland 1828-29 This CD contains scanned images of the above Pigot's Trade Directory. 61 pages covering the following areas and their neighbourhoods : Alnwick and Alnmouth, Bedlington and Cowpen, Belford, Bambrough and Lowick, Bellingham with Wark and Falstone, Berwick upon Tweed and Tweedmouth, Blyth, Felton, Thirston and Warkworth, Haltwhistle and Henshaw, Hexham with Allendale, Corbridge and Haydon Bridge, Morpeth, Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead (27 pages), North Shields and Tynemouth (with Earsdon, Chirton, Cullercoats, Preston, Whitley, etc.), Rothbury and Harbottle, Seaton Sluice with Hartley, Monk Seaton and Holywell, and Wooler. The images are in black and white PDF format, compatible with nearly all computers, PC/Mac/Linux/etc. - Adobe Reader 5 (not the latest version, but stable and compatible with most PC operating systems from Windows 95 onwards) is supplied on the CD for viewing on a PC in case you havent already got it, but most computers can read the files using their default PDF viewer anyway.
